The West Midlands outfit dumped David Moyes’ men out of the competition at Molineux at the same stage last year but Everton – unbeaten so far this term in five matches – will be looking to gain revenge at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Also on the agenda is Nathan’s new book Succession about Colin Harvey and his time as Everton manager. Having written novels The World Is (Not) A Cold Dead Place; Out Of The City and The Last Sane Man On Earth, Nathan has also penned articles about football, culture, current affairs and men’s mental health for The New World; Byline Times; Four Four Two; Men’s Fitness and Metro.

Succession explores an often-overlooked period in Everton’s modern history under arguably the greatest servant the club has ever known. The book offers a sympathetic, clear-eyed account as it tracks the initial enthusiasm surrounding Harvey’s appointment, the weight of expectation and his struggle to replicate the success he helped create as a player and coach.
