This meditation is for that moment when you feel like you're losing yourself - for when you are spiralling. My hope is that it meets you where you are and helps in that moment of slipping back into reactions and patterns and behaviours that you are trying to avoid. It happens to all of us. For me it feels like a tightening behind the eyes, a nervous dread in the stomach, a deep regret, shame even. Like I've let the monster back in the room. I want this meditation to give you a moment to remember who you are at your core and moreover, I want to congratulate you on catching yourself in the moment and not indulging it! That is most of the battle! So, take a breath, wherever you are and give yourself ten minutes to return to yourself. You are right there. Today we are starting the day right - with our intention set for how we want to move through the day. It is not a task or something we have to get "right" it is an anchor to keep ourselves on track with how we want to approach our day. Just a single breath can bring us back to that intention. So whether you need to feel confident, compassionate or simply peaceful today, this meditation will allow you to find that and keep it as a gentle intention for how you carry yourself today. Intuitive healer, Catherine Crestani, is warm and open and in this conversation we talked about how to connect with Spirit Guides, and de-mystify this as an idea. We also discuss enhancing your clairs, and using your intuition within healing and inner growth. I loved chatting with Catherine she brings so much grounded, human-ness within these very esoteric practices so that they feel really accessible and possible. I hope you love our chat as much as I did! You can reach Catherine at https://willowhealing.org/
This meditation is for those moments when anger has risen in you. Sometimes anger is hot and flashes bright, other times it simmers and gently cooks into resentment... Here we are transmuting the energy of anger, feeling it's presence in our body and separating ourselves from it so it can be transmuted, alchemised into something more productive. Anger is a very normal emotion but underneath it lies fear. Ask yourself what is the fear beneath the anger? This is a simple healing meditation for those moments when you feel anger within you. I hope that it helps you in a moment of need.
This week we are conducting a little thought experiment. In this episode I ask the question "What is your default mode?". When we are left to our own devices, when the routine changes, when we have space to ourselves, how do we act? Who are we when external circumstances shift? How reliant are we on others energy? Basically, who are we at our core when all expectations are stripped away? I'd love to hear from you! I will be back with a new meditation next week.
