Show Notes
Ep 506 - The Queensland Winter Carnival wraps up with a massive day at the Sunshine Coast featuring the Winx Guineas, Caloundra Cup, and Glasshouse Stakes. Woodhead and BJ break down all the feature racing, plus the Winter Stakes at Rosehill and the Winter Finals at Flemington.
The boys start by calling out the "ridiculous" decision by Victorian stewards to ban Craig Newitt's young son from the jockeys' room, sharing their own fond memories of growing up around the sheds.
On the punt, BJ breaks down why one horse has a massive ratings edge in the Winx Guineas, and reveals the Winter Stakes runner whose 7.5kg weight drop makes it the clear pick over the last-start winner. To cap it off, we celebrate a massive June for members (129 units in profit!) and deliver our Best Bet of the Day — a $2.40 shot at Rosehill that broke the track record two starts back and looks impossible to beat.
