How To Use Claude To Grow Your Instagram On Autopilot - 905
Build Your Tribe | Grow Your Business with Social MediaShow Notes
Brock Johnson has posted on Instagram for more than 1,800 consecutive days, and in this episode, he shares the exact AI system he wishes he had from day one. He breaks down his RAMP framework — Research, Assemble, Multiply, Process — and explains how to use Claude, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork to build an Instagram workflow that runs almost entirely on autopilot.
The episode covers seven of the biggest content creation challenges: not knowing what to post, writing weak hooks, filming inefficiently, constantly task switching, ignoring carousels, failing to schedule content, and not understanding why posts succeed or fail. For each challenge, Brock demonstrates the automation he recommends, from generating weekly research summaries based on saved posts and favorite accounts, to testing scripts with a "would this make sense to a stranger?" filter, to using Claude as a virtual director that creates optimized shot lists for filming.
He also explains how Canva templates combined with Claude Cowork can transform existing Reels into carousels, how Claude Cowork can automatically schedule posts in Metricool based on custom rules, and how his own system keeps more than 150 Instagram posts scheduled up to six months in advance. Toward the end of the episode, Brock shows how Claude Code can build dashboards that analyze content performance and uncover trends creators often miss.
One of the biggest takeaways is that no coding experience is required. Instead of writing code, creators simply describe the workflow they want, and Claude Cowork handles the technical implementation. The episode wraps up with a challenge to build one automation using the RAMP framework, along with an invitation to Brock's end-of-July webinar series that teaches how to grow on Instagram in less than 15 minutes a day.

In today’s episode, Brock Johnson shares what he learned from making 3,238 Reels: educational content is dead, and entertainment needs to be the focus. That doesn’t mean dancing, aesthetics, flexing, trends, or silly stunts. It means retention is king. He starts with skip rate, the first step in retention. When people swipe away immediately, the first-frame visual was usually off-putting, uninteresting, or read as a scam, which mostly happens on normal Reels rather than trial Reels. He goes through the first-frame checklist: does the visual relate to the topic, is it plain and obvious, did you follow the rule of 3, is it HD, is it bright but not too bright, and is there an unexpected element.
In today’s episode, Brock Johnson sits down with Steve from CrossThread Garage to talk about what it takes to stop being a creator and start being a founder. They get into how he made that transition, what changed in how he thinks about his work, and why building something you own is a different game than making content for an audience.
In today’s episode, Brock Johnson is breaking down the plan he used to reach 1 million followers on Instagram. It starts with posting three kinds of content: shareworthy posts built with my SHARE checklist (Simple, strong Hook, Authentic, Relatable, Entertaining), posts with DM automation, and more carousels, since they beat Reels on engagement and far fewer people post them. Every week, the DM automation posts promote four things: my personal email list (the R.E.P.O.R.T.), the business email list through a freebie, the $7 two-week trial, and the podcast and YouTube channel.
In today's episode, Brock Johnson is breaking down a new Trial Reels hack I'm calling the Triple Double Method that's helping accounts go viral repeatedly off a single piece of content. The idea starts simple: post a Trial Reel, then post the normal Reel version, then post a mirrored Trial Reel with a few key changes, zooming in the video, speeding it up, re-editing the hook, changing the on-screen text, and adding a non-Instagram filter or color change. From there, you repost that same content again at the 90-day mark and again at 180 days, turning one video into five separate uploads.
In today's episode, Brock Johnson breaks down what's changed with the Instagram algorithm right now and how it's heavily weighting retention. He walks through the three-part funnel: skip rate is the bouncer that decides whether you get into the club at all, retention is what separates average content from great content, and share rate is what gets you into the VIP section. Understanding where you're losing people in that funnel tells you exactly what to fix.
