During this episode they discuss how the changes in the brain don't often look good while a child undergoes the Melillo Method protocols. Oftentimes there are emotional, behavioral and even metabolic transitions that appear to be negative while the brain is being stimulated. Dr. Melillo and Dr. Scire explain why these changes appear to be negative but in fact are positive developmental changes as well as demonstrate how parents/caregivers can use the Reconnected Kids book to know what to expect during these developmental stages.
