Show Notes
Former Green Beret and Delta Force operator Brent Tucker sits down with former 75th Ranger Regiment member Trent McDonald, who spent 9½ years in the Regiment and completed eight combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
At the center of Trent’s story are two extraordinary military working dogs: Benno and Layka. Benno went from nearly being written off as untrainable to becoming Trent’s trusted teammate in combat. After Benno was killed on his eighth deployment, Layka became the next chapter of Trent’s remarkable journey with military working dogs.
This is a conversation about Rangers, war dogs, sacrifice, loyalty, and the bond between a handler and the dogs who serve beside them.
