Summary
John Husted testifies at the First Energy corruption trial, supporting the company rather than opposing it. Evidence reveals that First Energy made a secret payment of one million dollars to aid Husted's campaign, which subsequently led to a billion-dollar bailout for the company. As a result, electric bills increased by 62%, raising concerns among consumers about the implications of such political dealings.
In a lighter segment, a Halloween prank unfolds as the hosts engage in a humorous scare tactic inspired by the movie "Obsession." A listener, Brianna, seeks to wake her notoriously difficult-to-arouse boyfriend in a creative way. With the help of a friend, Dylan, who adopts a creepy persona, they execute the prank live on air. The boyfriend's startled reaction provides comedic relief, showcasing the playful spirit of the show.
