Nic Haldezos (@nic_haldezos) on Loving Your Partner Unconditionally, Two Under Two, Male Postpartum Depression, and Laughing Through the Chaos
Dumb Smart MumsShow Notes
Shut the front door, we've got a Dad!!! As I say in the introduction, something I've wanted from the beginning of this podcast is for this to be a space for parents of all genders. There are a lot of resources out there for mums and femme-identifying parents, and I think dads and masc-presenting parents can get a bit lost in the chaos. So I am so grateful that the wonderful Nic Haldezos (@nic_haldezos @nuggetcreative) agreed to be our first pod dad!
Not only that, but he came on and literally told me "no questions are off-limits, I'm an open book" which is so generous and so kind.
Nic is a guy who lives his life as a dad first and everything else second, and he and his fiancee (@cassidyskelton) do everything they can to live their lives intentionally to be the best parents they can be. I actually adored listening to Nic's perspective, and about how he and Cass stay a solid team in amongst the chaos of two under two. The way he talks about Cass will make you melt!

Hej hej! Welcome back, honey bees! We talk for quite a bit about bts of social media at the beginning of this episode, so scrub through to around 20 minutes if you aren't interested.
Oh hi folks, once again it was Abbey's turn to research but then she didn't and we ended up giving you a different kind of episode. BUT, she gives you some insight as to why she didn't research with her life updates. Y'all are the first to hear it, she's a bit nervous to tell the world, so be nice.
A HUGE thank you to Little Beat First Aid for sponsoring this episode of Dumb Smart Mums. If you're looking for accessible, evidence-based, not terrifying first aid, look no further than Little Beat. Shrenika and her team are so wonderful, and we have both used Shrenika's awesome education on multiple occasions to know what to do when our kiddies have been sick. You can find their website here, and their instagram here. Don't forget to use code DSM10 at checkout for 10% off anything on the Little Beat website, or mention this episode at inquiry for 10% off a private booking. TYSM LBFA, ILY!
Join hosts Abbey & Charlotte this week as we sit down together and have a vulnerable chat about our frustrations with being working mothers, and the roadblocks we've encountered trying to "have it all" (the way we are repeatedly told we can).
