Show Notes
We resume our mini-marathon of Netflix's Stranger Things 3 with the penultimate episode, "The Bite". In which many people are forced to confront their true feelings for other characters, with mixed results. The Mind Flayer is running roughshod over the backwoods of Hawkins, while the thus un-merged Billy stalks down El to eliminate her as threat. The big question in our minds is whether the Duffer Brothers took the long off season to come up with a new way to resolve inter-dimensional threats, or are we in for another screaming session from El? Let's find out together! Just one more episode left! We'll be wrapping up our marathon of Stranger Things 3 today, but our coverage isn't over. Next week, we'll have our thoughts on ST3 as a whole, look forward to next season, and will consider your feedback, so make sure you get it in using email and forum links below! More from Dungeons and Demogorgons - A Stranger Things Podcast
After nearly a decade in the Upside Down, Stranger Things finally brings it home. Episodes 5–8 of the final season aim high, close loops, and, most importantly, stick the landing. Jim and A.Ron talk about the relief of a well-earned ending, the emotional payoff of watching these characters grow up in real time (and then some), and why it feels good to say goodbye on a high note.
Is Eleven dead? Does Will still have powers? Steve and Anthony wrap up our coverage of Stranger Things. We both love parts of the season finale and resolve to forgive other parts. Also, is there such a thing as too much Prince?
Anthony learns for the first time of the Stranger Things prequel play. Steve explains the key points. Then they do a bit of wormhole theory crafting.
Steve and Anthony talk about Ted's masculinity and about Jonathan's wig. Steve has a few theories that prove unconvincing to Anthony. Anthony is still holding a flame for Linda Hamilton.
Hey all you, listeners! A.Ron is here to chat about the upcoming plans for coverage for Stranger Things Season 5. In the meantime, join in on the Bald Move Christmas celebrations by going to: Bald Move Christmas.
