SEC football Week 7 was absolute chaos, headlined by Auburn’s stunning 27–24 upset of No. 1 Georgia in Athens. The Tigers rallied from an early 14-point deficit and won on Alex McPherson’s last-second field goal after Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton committed three turnovers. Florida delivered another major shock, storming back for a 27–24 road win over No. 7 Texas as freshman quarterback Tramell Jones Jr. impressed in his first career start. Tennessee also made a statement, dominating No. 6 Alabama 26–10 in Knoxville to hand the Crimson Tide their second consecutive regular-season loss. Three marquee games, three huge blows to the SEC’s national championship picture.

Elsewhere, Ole Miss and LSU delivered emphatic bounce-back performances, with the ninth-ranked Rebels crushing No. 13 Missouri 31–3 and No. 22 LSU shutting out No. 16 Mississippi State 31–0. No. 15 Kentucky continued its strong run by beating Oklahoma 21–13, using four takeaways—including Jordan Castell’s pick-six—to seal the victory. Texas A&M handled The Citadel 41–0, while Arkansas defeated Vanderbilt 31–21.
