The King Who Conquers! The King Sets His Face To Die || Luke 9:44-62 || 22.03.2026

Show Notes

In this message from Luke 9:44-62, Gavin Mork reminds us of the beautiful, upside-down nature of God’s kingdom where our conquering King came not to be served, but to willingly lay down His life as a ransom for us. As we look at Jesus resolutely setting His face toward Jerusalem, we are challenged to align our expectations of the Christian life with His sacrificial example, learning to faithfully navigate opposition and joyfully count the true cost of following our Savior.

We pray this teaching was a blessing and hope to see you at our Gathering soon.

In this message continuing our series "A Charter for Joy," Ps Arnaldo unpacks Philippians 1:1–11 to reveal the foundational pathway to unshakable, Christian joy written from the squalor of a Roman prison cell. Through Paul’s deep gratitude, sovereign assurance, and abounding love, we see that mission and revival do not begin with legalistic duty, but with an explosion of life-giving joy. Anchored in the promise that God will finish the good work He began in us—and looking to Jesus, who endured the cross for the joy set before Him—we are invited to live with radically open hands and discover that Christ is our greatest treasure.
