Lore Drop 0 - Pinned Intro
ApocaPodcast: A Sci-Fi DnD Style Actual Play Audio Drama in a Post-Apocalyptic WastelandShow Notes
ApocaPodcast is an actual play, role-playing game podcast that follows the lives of three survivors in the imaginary post-apocalyptic world of Toprak. I have designed a world from scratch for both you, the listeners, and the players to explore. The past is what you or I would call futuristic or cyberpunk, and the present is a post-apocalyptic world filled with weird creatures and anarchy. I tried my best to smash the bunch of different post-apocalyptic and sci-fi genres together on a single continent with four or five different regions to explore, ranging from Mad Max to zombie apocalypse to sentient killer robots. Both Apocapodcast and the ABC game engine are works in progress. This episode kicks off a series of "behind the scenes" podcasts known as “Lore Drops” in preparation for the official start of the adventure.

Earlier this year, Hurricane Helene caused devastating damage to homes and families, particularly in Central Appalachia. The Appalachia Service Project has committed to repairing or replacing over 200 homes for families impacted by the hurricane. Another group called Mission of Hope is working to ensure families in need can experience the joy of Christmas. Their Christmas Collection Program provides new toys, clothes, food, and essential hygiene items to children of families in Appalachia.
