Georg Purvis is the author of On Track: Elvis Costello and the Attractions.
Having previously published books on Pink Floyd and Queen, Georg explores every song and album recorded by Costello between 1977 and 1986.
In this episode, Georg tells me about writing the book and his own experiences as an Elvis Costello fan.
He picks five of his favourite EC tracks for our playlist, including the song that moved him to tears when he first heard it.
