Have you been waiting for life to settle down before you start decluttering or caring for your home? Maybe there's a room you keep shutting the door on, and you think, "Why start now? I don't even know what's coming next." In this Christian devotional, we walk through Jeremiah 32 in the KJV. Jerusalem was under siege. Jeremiah was a prisoner. And God told him to buy a field. He bought it, signed the deed, and preserved the documents. Then he brought his confusion to the Lord. God's answer is our anchor passage, Jeremiah 32:26–27: "Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying, Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" I share how this passage spoke to me when I was surrounded by clutter, unfinished home projects, and too many commitments. We talk about God's sovereignty, faith that acts before sight, and the temptation to let everyday responsibilities slide while we wait for a bigger answer. Jeremiah 32 is God's promise to restore His people to their land, not a promise about our circumstances. But Jeremiah's response shows us what obedience can look like in our homes and spiritual lives, even when we still have questions. For reflection: Where are you waiting for your circumstances to change before you start tending to what God has put in your care? After nearly two years and almost 180 episodes, I’ve been reflecting on one simple truth: organization isn’t the goal—it’s the path. In this episode, I’m sharing what God has been teaching me about our homes, stewardship, and creating room for what matters most.
