Tom Coyne spent four months walking 1,118 miles around the links of Ireland, and it turned into a bestseller. Nearly two decades later his book has become a television series, and this time he had company, considerably better accommodations and a few less miles on foot. A Course Called Ireland premieres Sunday on Paramount+ and the BBC, with our editor playing the links of Northern Ireland and the Republic alongside Bill Murray and a rotating cast of Murrays and friends. In this episode, Coyne is joined by Joel Murray, Johnny Murray and executive producer Casey Scharf to share their favorite stories from the show, including a surf lesson that went sideways, how a massage therapist ended up on the crew and what it actually takes to keep Bill in line.
