Show Notes
Welcome back to another massive episode of Shepmates! This week, we’ve got a monster lineup of stories, surprises, and special guests.
First up, the wild prison saga has yet another development, what intel has been uncovered? Plus, we can’t escape the LeBron songs that are taking over the internet, so naturally, Miles and Archie bring you their new favourites.
Then, the boys turn their attention to the NBA, breaking down the viral Josh Giddey video. In a Shepmates Podcast first, Miles and Archie secure exclusive interviews with Chicago Bulls broadcasting legends Stacey King and Adam Amin, the voices behind the now iconic Josh Giddey call. They take listeners through the play moment by moment, giving a firsthand look at how it all unfolded.
Over in the AFL world, the boys do a rapid-fire Around the Grounds, where West Coast takes a stand and the local footy world braces for Round 1…the real footy season is finally here!
And to top it all off, Miles is caught holding his girlfriend hostage… at footy training. Is this worth a fine? Tune in to find out

It's the Season 2 finale and it might be one of our best yet, so maybe we shouldn't have a break. Maybe we shouldn't.

Back to back guests, and this week we took the show to the MCG. Sunny day, birds chirping, trucks reversing, and the bloke who draws the Grand Final poster. Mark Knight joins us in the MCG gardens. Chief editorial cartoonist at the Herald Sun, a drawing every single day, and the man behind every premiership poster since 2009.
The boys are back and the bedroom has a new chair.. because this week we have our first ever in-house guest, and we thought we'd start small. Brian Taylor joins us in the studio. One of the great voices of Australian footy, two decades on Seven and Triple M, and a bloke who owes the boys an apology after the Legends Game. He delivers it. Then he peels back the curtain on the whole thing: how it took him ten years to find his voice, the one line from his boss that gave him permission to go big, why he can tell inside five minutes whether he's on, and the call he's proudest of.
The boys are back in the studio and Melbourne is humming.. finals are here, the NFL has rolled into town and the Sunday Footy Show has apparently started listening to the pod.
