This Is Fun 👍 Ft. Mike Commodore | FN Barn Burner - October 16th, 2026

Brent Krahn joins Boomer, Pinder and Rhett to share his thoughts on the ongoing Connor Hellebuyck situation with the Winnipeg Jets, and he's clearly frustrated with how things have played out. Krahner believes Hellebuyck hasn't been good enough in the biggest moments for Winnipeg and takes issue with the growing trend of NHL players trying to dictate where they play. As Krahn puts it, this isn't the NBA, where players can seemingly pick and choose their destinations. He reflects on his own playing days, when simply having the opportunity to play in the NHL was an honour and a privilege, regardless of the team. At the same time, he understands that family comes first, particularly if there are genuine concerns about their safety. The boys discuss player power, loyalty and whether Hellebuyck has handled this situation the right way.

CONNOR HELLEBUYCK WANTS OUT OF WINNIPEG... BUT NOW HE COULD BE COMING BACK?! Boomer, Pinder and Rhett dive into the never-ending standoff between Hellebuyck and the Winnipeg Jets as his suspension approaches its October 23 expiration date. The three-time Vezina Trophy winner requested a trade, missed training camp and has reportedly forfeited nearly $800,000 in salary. Now the Jets face a massive decision: trade their franchise goaltender, welcome him back or potentially keep paying him without putting him in the lineup. With multiple teams reportedly involved in trade discussions, who is actually willing to make a deal? Has Hellebuyck handled this situation the wrong way, or have the Jets made things even worse? The boys break down the latest developments, the money, the potential trade market and how BOTH sides get out of this absolute mess!

BRADY TKACHUK IS COMING BACK TO OTTAWA... AND THIS COULD GET UGLY!! Boomer, Pinder and Rhett dive into the highly anticipated return of Brady Tkachuk to face the Ottawa Senators after his controversial departure and trade to the Florida Panthers to join his brother Matthew. Was Brady RIGHT to want out of Ottawa, or did he turn his back on the team and fanbase that embraced him? The boys break down the trade, how everything went down and whether Senators fans have every right to be furious with their former captain. What kind of reception is Brady going to get when he steps back onto the ice in Ottawa? Should fans BOO him, or can you really blame a player for wanting to join his brother and chase a Stanley Cup? This one is going to be a GEM!
