Hot take: we think the show would be better if they just outright said that the casting department for the network finds the pool of eligible singles for an upcoming season, and from that pool of 14 people the experts have to match who would be compatible. Truthfully, I saw more effort in matchmaking on Millionaire Matchmaker with Patti Stranger.
