FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots concluded Day 12 of preseason training camp with the blue vs white scrimmage. BSJ’s Greg Bedard reacts to what he saw from the scrimmage, which saw Tommy DeVito, A.J. Brown, and DeMario Douglas’ blue team win 23-17.

Greg highlights another impressive day from DeMario Douglas and another outstanding training camp from him in general. He was also impressed with Tommy DeVito, who is making big plays down the field and playing with a lot of confidence.

A.J. Brown spoke to reporters about going up against Christian Gonzalez and if it has set the tone at practice:

“With us going at it each and every day…When you step out there, you know anybody can get it…And I think that's the the mentality.”

Brown also spoke about the trash talk exchanges with Christian Gonzalez at practice:

“I actually talk to myself, so he may hear me talking to myself and he may take it like I’m talking to him…We’re teammates at the end of the day and we’re just competing.”
