Notre Dame-USC Paused, Texas Tech's Joey McGuire Joins, CFP Roster Construction, & Quarterfinal Picks
The Triple OptionShow Notes
When your coach has the Batmobile, that has to count for something, right?
Urban Meyer, Mark Ingram II, and Rob Stone break down the construction of the playoff teams rosters and discuss the new age of roster building. Championships are no longer won on high school signing day.
We don't play favorites, but we make an exception for Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire as he joins to guys ahead of their matchup with #5 Oregon. He discusses the team mentality, how he motivates this group and the allegations that they bought a Big 12 Championship.
We then hit the headlines with news of Ryan Day taking over playcalling for the Buckeyes in the Playoff and Notre Dame-USC getting put on pause. Spoiler alert, it's not good for anyone. The guys then make their final CFP Quarterfinal picks of Oregon-Texas Tech and Georgia-Ole Miss.
