Today Dan sits down with Ryan from CallemCloseApp.com — a fellow North Idaho elk hunter who created a FREE online tool designed to help hunters build better elk sounds and gain confidence behind a diaphragm call.
Let’s face it… learning to run a mouth call can be downright frustrating. Even seasoned elk hunters struggle with consistency, realistic emotion and creating sounds that actually fool bulls in the mountains. Ryan breaks down how his app coaches hunters through sound creation, timing and repetition to shorten the learning curve and help more hunters become effective callers.
The fellas also dive into Ryan’s unbelievable story of arrowing a bull on the very first day he ever elk hunted, what he learned from that experience and why he became obsessed with helping others communicate more effectively with elk.
If you’ve ever wanted to sound more realistic, gain confidence calling in high-pressure situations or simply avoid bad habits before September, this episode is packed with practical advice and elk hunting insight.
