Have you ever thought about what you would do if the world suddenly seemed to bend to your will? If asking for something always meant you got it, and you could get away with just about anything? Would you choose to live in a van down by the river with a polar bear and a barbarian woman painted on the side? Because this week the boys meet up with the one man on earth who seemingly would do that with all that power at his finger tips. And to be honest? He rules. The yellow-eyed demon's influence makes a stunning return in an episode full of ridiculous twists, shockingly unsettling moments, and Andy. Lots of Andy.

The boys have a real tough one this week, a ghost who seems to be serving its own brand of justice to those who are already serving their time! When an old friend of dad's reaches out with this request, Dean and Sam end up trading cigs and hangin out in the yard as they race against the clock to save the inmates and guards from this blind vengeance. They can't stay forever though and any time a plan involves "get yourself arrested and thrown in jail", you may want to go back to the drawing board...
Welcome to Tinsel Town! Where the stars on the silver screen shine brighter than the stars in the sky (thank you, light pollution) and everyone's willing to whatever it takes to get ahead. Even if that means stealing a terrible script from someone and ripping it to shreds so much that it is no longer anything like the original. Or summoning the long gone spirits of people who died horribly on a movie set many years before to murder the people that took that script away from you in the first place. Or working as a PA without being paid because you and your brother wandered on set and were put to work. Hollywood's a tough town, everyone. And if this particular Hollywood looks more like Canada, no it doesn't!
We are pulling over for a quick update on the rest of the season and beyond!
Well, we've done vampires. We've done ghosts. We've done demons. What's a big supernatural thing we haven't yet run into? That's right everybody, it's time to howl at the moon and rip out some hearts - we're talking werewolves. Well, kind of. Not a single 'wolf' to be seen in this episode. But they promise, it's werewolves. Will dad's ramblings in his journal actually be helfpul this time? Will Sam finally get to hang out with the girl and have it not be miserable and tragic? Spoiler alert- no to both!
The winding roads on the way to Lake Tahoe can be a very dangerous place - especially if you’re husband distracts you while driving and a random man is in the middle of the road for no damn reason. This week the boys take on a case that asks them to confront what happens to ghosts when they move on. Are ghosts inherently evil because they’re trapped on earth? Or are some just lost souls accidentally causing problems big enough to summon the Winchesters?
