The recommended du'a to recite when leaving a gathering is: "Kaffaratul Majlis" (the expiation of assembly). It is recited in Arabic as "Subhanak Allāhumma wa bi hamdika, ash-hadu 'an lā ilāha illā Anta, astaghfiruka wa atūbu ilayk". The translation is: "Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You
This du'a is a tradition based on narrations from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), where he would recite it after every gathering or session. It is believed to help expiate any unintentional wrongdoing that might have occurred during the gathering

In this episode, we talk about making du’a a genuine part of our relationship with Allah, not something we only turn to when life gets difficult🤍
In this episode of Rooted, we’re talking about what it means to build a genuine relationship with the Qur’an. If you’ve ever felt distant from the Book of Allah or struggled to stay consistent, this is your reminder that it’s never too late to return. Together, we’ll reflect on why the Qur’an was revealed, how it transforms our hearts, and how to reconnect with it through small, meaningful steps.
This episode is not about guilt or fixing everything at once. It’s about understanding what’s happening in your heart, and realising that drifting doesn’t mean you’ve left. It often just means you’ve gotten lost. And getting lost is not the same as leaving🤍
In this first episode, we talk about returning. Not the perfect kind of return, but the real one, the kind where you feel distant and still choose to come back anyway.
After Ramadan ends, the real question begins: what will we carry forward? Allah reminds us in the Qur'an, “And worship your Lord until there comes to you certainty (death)” (15:99), showing that our عبادات are not limited to a single month, but are meant to continue throughout our lives.
