Show Notes

If regeneration is an invisible, supernatural work of God, how can we know that it has truly happened? Can someone claim to be born again while nothing about their life changes? And if a believer still struggles with sin, does that mean the new birth never occurred?

In Episode 57 of They Call Her Mother: Faith, Family & Legacy, Minister Aisha Amenra continues Lesson 5 of The Amenra Kingdom Institute's series, Regeneration: Born From Above—Living the New Life of the Kingdom.

The central truth is powerful: regeneration is invisible in its beginning, but increasingly visible in its fruit. The evidence is not sinless perfection—it is changed direction.

Drawing from 1 John, Mother explains that genuine spiritual life begins changing our relationship with sin. A regenerated believer may still stumble, struggle, and require correction, but conviction, repentance, and a growing desire to obey God reveal a new spiritual allegiance. There is a difference between struggling against sin and making peace with it.

Galatians 5 reveals another essential evidence: the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and self-control are not qualities we manufacture to earn salvation. They develop because the Holy Spirit is at work within us.

The root comes before the fruit. Life produces growth—not the other way around.

James 2 brings the teaching into everyday action. Living faith does not remain an empty profession. It influences decisions, relationships, obedience, generosity, and how we respond when following Christ costs us something. Good works do not purchase regeneration; they reveal the reality of living faith.

IN THIS EPISODE: - Why regeneration produces a new direction rather than instant perfection. - How 1 John connects obedience, repentance, love, and assurance with spiritual life. - The difference between struggling with sin and surrendering to sin. - Why genuine repentance is evidence of a heart responding to God. - How the ninefold fruit of the Spirit develops through spiritual growth. - Why love is essential evidence of regeneration. - What James 2 teaches about living faith and visible works. - How to examine spiritual fruit without falling into condemnation or false assurance. - Why Kingdom citizens should increasingly reflect the character of their King.

Mother also reminds us that spiritual fruit is not merely for personal benefit. Our patience blesses our families. Our gentleness creates safety. Our faithfulness strengthens relationships. Our love serves others. The Spirit produces fruit within us that becomes a blessing beyond us.

This teaching offers encouragement to believers who are still growing and a sober challenge to those who have become comfortable with spiritual complacency.

A failure does not have to become your identity. When you stumble, return to Christ. Confess, repent, receive His cleansing, and continue walking. At the same time, grace must never become an excuse for a life indifferent to God's Word.

Ask yourself: Have my desires changed? Am I becoming more responsive to conviction? Is my love growing? Does my faith influence how I live? Can those closest to me recognize the character of Christ developing within me?

Remember these three Kingdom truths:

1. Regeneration produces a new direction, not instant perfection.

2. Regeneration produces love and the fruit of the Spirit.

3. Living faith produces visible works.

The evidence of regeneration is not perfection—but changed direction.

We do not bear fruit in order to become alive. We bear fruit because God has made us alive.

Follow, subscribe, share, and repost this teaching as we continue growing in Kingdom truth, spiritual formation, and generational legacy.
