The Atlanta Falcons have been the most lifeless team in the NFL through two weeks, but Michael Penix now returns and gives the Falcons some much needed hope. Penix will need to be good out of the gate if he hopes to turn things around on a short week against a tough Green Bay Packers team. Week 3 in the NFL presents some must-win situations like the Los Angeles Chargers with two losses facing the scorching hot Buffalo Bills. Also in the AFC, the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts have a loser-leaves-town match. In the NFC, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting close to disaster and Todd Bowles could be the first coach fired if they don't start to fix it against the Minnesota Vikings. Finally, the Detroit Lions need a vibe fix and the New York Jets do as well. The Lions got smoked by the Bills last week and the Jets crashed out and gave the game away to the Packers. Even though both teams are 1-1, this is a big matchup for the rest of the season!

The San Francisco 49ers moved to 6-0 on the season after their win on Monday Night Football and with the closest competitor at 3-3 in the NFC West, Brock Purdy's crew has somewhat shut the door on the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. In the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated off a bye and have a great shot to keep their momentum rolling. In the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings come off a bye also still undefeated, but with the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears surging, the Vikings lead isn't safe. Finally, in the AFC North, the surprise Cleveland Browns lead the division, but with everyone sitting with only two losses, the lead is far from safe.
