665. Telepathy, Remote Viewing, & the Non-Speaking Autistics Proving the Mind Is Nonlocal w/ Ky Dickens
The Life StylistShow Notes
This might be one of the only times telepathy was captured in a controlled lab.
Ky Dickens is an award-winning filmmaker known for documentaries that tackle complex social issues and drive cultural change. In 2024, she created The Telepathy Tapes, a viral podcast exploring telepathy in the non-speaking community that reached #1 globally and won a Webby Award.
In this episode, we get into a filmed triple-blind telepathy experiment conducted in a controlled lab setting. Participants separated by distance began describing locations they had never physically seen. Ky shares, “We caught it all on camera… it might be one of the most spontaneous validations of telepathy or remote viewing ever happened in a lab.”
We also talk through her shift from traditional documentary work into studying non-speaking individuals, where communication through spelling appears to reveal consistent access to information beyond conventional sensory input. From there, we explore near-death experiences, creative inspiration, and scientific efforts to examine consciousness through measurable methods.
If you’ve ever been curious about telepathy, remote viewing, autism, or the nature of consciousness, this episode looks at what emerges when these phenomena are observed repeatedly under controlled conditions.
You'll learn:
[00:00] Introduction [05:17] Ky shares how she went from skeptical documentary filmmaker to stumbling into the world of non-speaking telepathy [08:53] We explore why consciousness, not matter, may be the foundation of reality [20:00] Ky explains how psychic gifts emerge at life's edges, in the dying, the young, and those with apraxia [26:31] We examine the contested question of autism: should it be healed, or is it an evolution of consciousness? [34:52] Ky explains how non-speakers can appear as accidental mystics, including pre-birth memory and hidden energetic work [50:20] Ky breaks down how spelling-to-communicate works and why human presence, not AI, is essential to the process [57:06] We discuss the nonprofit, spelling grants, and the legislative fight to get spelling into schools [59:11] Ky shares the three teachers that shaped her: a skeptical father, Mary Oliver, and the non-speakers themselves

In this Lonesome Conversation, Kyle and I explore a hunger most of us don’t know we have — the deep deficit of physical touch in Western culture, where contact gets siloed off into family or romance with nothing in between. He explains how we’re biologically wired for touch as co-regulation, how we convince ourselves we’ve “outgrown” the need, and why you can’t feel the lack until something finally fills it. A reframe of loneliness as, in part, a body starved of the care it was designed to receive. About Kyle Kyle Coursey is the creator of THE RESET, a one-of-a-kind experience. He works with high-performing and high-functioning individuals, founders, and executives who have done the work but still feel something is off. His work focuses on identifying and resolving the underlying distortions in the human system, across nervous system, physiology, psychology, and relational patterns, so clients can return to clarity, performance, and internal stability. Through his immersive RESET sessions, he compresses years of work into a single, focused experience designed to restore coherence and unlock what’s been inaccessible through conventional approaches. Lonesome Conversations Limited Series Lonesome Conversations is a special series from The Life Stylist, built around my new book, A Horse Named Lonesome (out November 17, 2026). Loneliness is something almost everyone goes through, and almost nobody talks about honestly. So I sat down with psychologists, philosophers, trauma therapists, teachers, and friends to find the truth about loneliness, and how we heal from it. Each episode is its own conversation, but together they walk the same ground the book maps out. Thirty minutes after the biggest relief of his life, Dylan Gemelli found out his apartment was being ransacked, with half a kilo of cocaine in the safe.
I join my brother Kyle Kingsbury for a raw conversation about the life experiences behind my new book, A Horse Named Lonesome. We trace my journey from childhood abuse and addiction to recovery and spiritual awakening, exploring how shame, trauma, and the illusion of separation can keep us disconnected from ourselves and others. We also get into forgiveness, ego death, 5-MeO-DMT, and the hard-earned lessons that ultimately inspired me to share this book with the world.
In this Lonesome Conversation, Dr. Lipton and I explore his striking claim that loneliness runs against a law of biology—that no organism, from an ant to a bee to a human, survives outside its community. He walks through why we've been programmed to feel separate by religion, politics, nationality, and sex, and who actually benefits when we're isolated and disempowered. A bracing reframe of the loneliness epidemic as a spiritual and biological crisis rather than a personal failing. About Dr. Lipton
