Brooke and Brice are joined by The Amazing Race 37 favorites Brett Hamby and Mark Romain as the Purple Pants Podcast Summer Rewatch of The Amazing Race 29 continues with Episode 9, “I Thought We Were Playing It Nice.” The Race stays in Greece, where teams face a heart-pounding Roadblock featuring a 240-foot bungee jump over the Corinth Canal before battling through tense Detour decisions that push communication, patience, and partnerships to their limits. As the competition tightens and emotions run high, Brooke, Brice, Brett, and Mark revisit the strategic gameplay, unforgettable meltdowns, and relationship dynamics that made this leg one of the season’s most talked-about episodes. Plus, Brett and Mark share their own perspective as Amazing Race alumni, adding behind-the-scenes insight, plenty of laughs, and stories only fellow racers can tell. Whether you’re revisiting Season 29 or watching for the very first time, this Summer Rewatch recap is packed with fun, strategy, and can’t-miss conversation.
