The Racket Club welcomes Robert Glenn, resident DJ with The Arena Project, with his guest DJ mix, titled 'Below'. Drawing on his love of progressive and techno, Rob takes inspiration from a night of underground clubbing in a Manchester cellar to explore a progressive warm-up for that setting. Stripped-back grooves, percussion and evolving themes greatly influence the mix, featuring Sam Scheme, Hobin Rude, Julieta Kühnle and Patch Park, alongside remixes from Simos Tagias and Berni Turletti, before closing with Stereo Underground’s In the Middle of Everything. In Rob’s words: “Taking Progressive to the basement.” Follow Robert on SoundCloud, Facebook and Instagram, or explore his Linktree.

We welcome Manchester based DJ, hawXy as our guest at The Racket Club. With over 30 years behind the decks, hawXy came through the underground dance scene at a time when progressive house wasn't really a neatly defined genre – it was a journey, the groove, the atmosphere and where a DJ could take you over the course of a set. Fast forward a few decades and, while the technology and the music have moved on, those fundamentals haven't changed for this guest DJ, and this is evident in his set.
