Today we want to talk about Shigeru Miyamoto and his complicated legacy working at Nintendo for nearly 50 years! His role has changed so much from when he first started at the company in the 1970s and has really evolved into something completely different. How will people remember Mr. Miyamoto when he finally decides to retire? These are the big questions we're asking. Also in this episode, more news has emerged about Nintendo's financials. Nintendo's stock is plummeting and we discuss if Nintendo is worried about this. We also have more comments from Nintendo global president Shuntaro Furukawa on what the company is doing to keep Switch 2 momentum high despite the upcoming price hike. We also started to play Indiana Jones on the Switch 2 and we're super impressed with this version of the game and we'll tell you why. We also finished Mixtape, the new indie game that's getting all sorts of buzz. We have so much in this jam-packed episode so settle on in! 0:00 - Welcome to episode 222 9:20 - Shigeru Miyamoto's legacy 59:44 - News news news 1:21:04 - Games we are playing Patreon shout-outs - All Hail the Final Boss - Aaron Hash - Thank you Super Stars: MaruMayhem, Eigenverse, Mike Chin, Roy Eschke, vgmlife, Link The Hero of Winds, Angela Bycroft, Thomas O’Rourke, Kyle LeBoeuf, Andrew Youhas, Chilly, krashuri, Master Discord, Travis Torline, EchoLadair, MSMPokeGamer, RBurns, KITT 10K, Adrien, Nafon Clover, TheSharkAmongMen, RainTech, KissMyFlapjack, Paul Gale Network, Cameron, Fredrik Ulf Konradsson, Catsually Nerdy Follow Us! https://www.patreon.com/kitandkrysta https://twitter.com/kitandkrysta https://www.tiktok.com/@kitandkrysta https://www.instagram.com/kitandkrysta/ http://www.facebook.com/kitandkrysta/ https://bsky.app/profile/kitandkrysta.bsky.social -Kit & Krysta
