Show Notes
The 20th Anniversary of my debut Cherry Performance in Washington DC was April 22, 2001, 5 years into my DJ career. Now 20 years later, I am thrilled to present part 4 of my full DJ set ‘Platinum Cherry After-hours." You can find parts 1-3 here.
In 2001, the only way to build a DJ career was word of mouth. There was no Facebook or Instagram. Or SoundCloud. For people to hear my sound and build a name, I had to reach and impress them in person. Impress them enough to reach the ears of someone in charge. Getting booked and being well received at a Cherry Afterhours in the Northeast region, where I needed a break to build my name, remains a pivotal part of my DJ journey. My career accelerated from first to third gear in one night.
This is part 4 of the 4 part set, the final 70 minutes of the event. For me, there's a timeless sonic quality to this mix compared to the others. If you want to hear the entire set in all its early 2000's sounding glory, get a track listing for this set, plus more unreleased content - remixes, bonus podcasts, original tracks - join Patreon today! http://www.Patreon.com/djjoeg
Thank you so much to Cherry for the last 20 years, and to you for the last 25 years of support overall. It's not often I look back, but when I do, I'm so thankful for something like this remember and celebrate!
Love, Joe

Get ready for the companion podcast that celebrates my debut self-produced event, coming to Atlanta on April 26. If you're in town, or at a future event, I hope you'll come and join us! In the meantime, enjoy my latest set with a new original production, 'COME.' Plus, all new mashups & reworks of our favorite new songs and dance tracks!
I updated the recording on February 2, 2024 to address errors. If you downloaded prior to Feb 2, please delete the episode and download it again for the updated mix. Thanks! - joe
I'm so excited to share a special promo mix celebrating the URGE Festival in Miami over Thanksgiving. This mix is actually a live recording of the last hour of my set at Coca Cola Roxy in Atlanta for PRIDE on October 14, 2023. It begins with one of my favorite new tracks, 'Hold On To Now,' by Kylie Minogue, along with an exclusive 'intro' to the set that is not included on the Sound Cloud edition. Please note, because this is a live set performance, there are tracks on here that I've podcasted before. Thank you for understanding.
These 14 edits, reworks, and amazing tracks are the 'best of the rest' that I wanted to add to the original 'Humanity' podcast. They didn't fit there, but now have a home on 'Humanity - Part 2.' Thank you so much for all the positive feedback and support! Love, Joe.
‘…Every night, I say a prayer. In light and dark, joy or sorrow, good and bad, for redemption and salvation. With an open heart and an open mind, I say a prayer. As a celebration of love, life, & HUMANITY.’ - Madonna
