After slugging it out with home water & getting a pounding - we hit the road to Carlise in hope of a change in fortune. Two days away for under £100 with the slim chance of a fish. I nearly embrace new tech and we all find comfort in Witherspoons.

With the river too low to fish for Salmon Boo heads out for over wintered rainbows and then try for Brown Trout on the dry fly. Along the way he encounters Ospreys and a merry brown Hare.
