Show Notes
Hello dear listeners and welcome back to the One Guy One Roll podcast! As always, I am your host, player, and GM Herocydides. I know we have had a bit of a break since I was able to produce the last episode, but I have been extremely busy with work and I am now officially going to be away from home for at least two weeks every month for work. My intention is to keep publishing at least two episodes a month as I am able and hopefully will even be able to squeeze out more than that. Thank you so very much for taking the time to listen as we continue to explore the exciting universe of Ironsworn: Starforged. The next paragraph is a brief summary of what occurred during the episode and does naturally contain some spoilers! So if you wish to avoid being spoiled, please skip it and continue on down to the last paragraph. Episode 35 starts off with a knife-like sleek black obsidian stealth spaceship. This small vessel is piloted but a single woman wearing an all black flight suit, simply adored with a single small patch. This patch is of a yellow knot on a simple green background. The bulk of the episode takes place on board the Second Chance as Nikora is finally able to get Petra to talk to him again, she has been furious with Nikora for giving the memory core of Subject A to Creed. This strengthening of their relationship together leads to Petra describing in great detail about her relationship with her noble house, her sister and why she is utterly determined to see the destruction of Subject A accomplished. We also discover a little bit more about the history of the Forge and the destructive relationships between the various noble houses. At the end of the episode Nikora and Petra finally decide on where they must proceed next and enter back into the Drift. CONTENT WARNING: MÖRK BORG is a dark, brutal game which will be full of potentially disturbing (non-sexual) content and gory, graphic descriptions so listening discretion is advised! Hello my dear listeners and welcome back to the grimdark world of MÖRK BORG! Hard to believe that we are already starting Episode 4 of this series and I really do not have any plans to wrap it up soon. However, as always the dice rolls will dictate a lot of what will happen and where the story progresses. During this episode, we get to learn what happens when we complete an Adventure and how ‘leveling up’ works in MÖRK BORG. Qillnach also ends up in a potentially very dangerous situation that I am excited to see how it gets resolved next time! Hello my dear listeners and welcome back once again to the One Guy One Roll! I as always am your host, player, and GM Herocydides and I hope that y’all enjoy episode 3 of the lovely TTRPG MÖRK BORG with the Sölitary Defilement solo supplement. This episode sees Qillnach forced to try his hand at finding a source of food and water as his rations are running low. He also ends up in a nasty situation near the end of the episode and ends up piecing together a little bit more of his fractured memory in the process. I really hope everyone enjoys listening as much as I did playing through it! As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to the podcast! Hello everyone and welcome to the One Guy One Roll podcast! After a rather lengthy hiatus due to a long planned vacation, an extremely busy period of work and just needing to take a break from content production, I have never been more excited and happy to be back with a fresh Season 5! I recently discovered that one of my favorite games, the Swedish doom metal inspired MÖRK BORG, has a solo rules supplement called Sölitary Defilement and I had to check it out and I was blown away with the quality. Inspired by Ironsworn, Sölitary Defilement has made this game the perfect fit for the One Guy One Roll podcast. I really hope that y’all enjoy listening to the newest season as much as I have enjoyed recording it. And as a brief note, MÖRK BORG is a dark, brutal game which will be full of potentially disturbing (non-sexual) content and gory, graphic descriptions so listening discretion is advised! Hello everyone and welcome back to the One Guy One Roll podcast! For one final time we are entering into the dark, haunting world of Lichdom as Vrakh, our favorite necromancer, finally gets to attempt the ritual of turning into a lich after a century of preparation. I really hope that y’all have enjoyed this mini series and if you have any recommendations for what you would like to be on the next episode, please do feel free to reach out through the Reddit post, Discord or via Patreon. We will likely be either returning to Ironsworn: Starforged or Ronin, but I am always open to other options. As always, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to the podcast!
