The Skirrid Inn has stood at the foot of a Welsh mountain serving drinks for centuries, and the old beam that was once above its staircase still carries the marks of the people who were hanged there. Every night, before the doors are locked, someone fills the Devil’s Cup behind the bar, because no one wants to find out what happens if it’s left empty. Upstairs, guests who stay in Room 2 have woken to the feeling that something is in the room with them, and the people who know the inn best call it a demon. When we gathered our biggest group investigation yet in that bar, we expected the dead to answer, but we weren’t ready for how many of them would.
This week on HTGS Reviews we cover the first SAW movie! In the 2004 horror film Saw, photographer Adam Stanheight and oncologist Dr. Lawrence Gordon wake up chained to pipes at opposite ends of a filthy, dilapidated bathroom
Although the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire has been known for its industrial influence, it has also endured the trials of plague, war and violence. Many of its buildings were destroyed in the Leeds blitz of 1941. One of the buildings that survived the bombing is The Priest’s Cottage. Historically it served as a chapel as well as the home of a priest and his wife. Today, the building is believed to be haunted by its former occupants as well as several of the war casualties of the 1941 bombings. Earlier this year we had the opportunity of investigating this location and it turned out to be one of the most active we’ve ever seen. Join us as we delve into the history and hauntings of The Priest’s Cottage
The Priest’s Cottage in West Yorkshire, England is a relatively lesser known location as far as haunted buildings. It survived the Leeds Blitz in 1941 when the Germans bombed the city but not without significant casualties. It was also the home to a priest for many years, hence the name. Now the location is believed to be haunted by his spirit along with several others. This was the first major location that we decided to investigate during our journey across the UK earlier this year. Join us and see what we discovered at The Priest’s Cottage.
This week on Hometown Ghost Stories, the crew heads to New York for the night. We visited multiple haunted locations, including the courthouse gallery, before spending the night at Fort William Henry. In this episode, we'll break down the history of Lake George, the battles fought on these very grounds and the hauntings that attract paranormal investigators and thrill seekers by the thousands, every year. Join us as we break down the evidence that we collected during our overnight stay at one of New York's most haunted locations.
