Creepy October is coming in with a classic…it’s 1982’s Poltergeist! A film that an entire generation saw too soon (thanks PG rating!), this is not a Steven Spielberg movie no matter how much you might think it is. This is a JoBeth Williams and Zelda Rubinstein movie.

It’s the end of Sitcom September, and Erika and Paul are going all the way back to the early 80s to watch a couple episodes of the sitcom that gave us Michael J. Fox: Family Ties! How does this family comedy about disparate political beliefs age? It probably depends on a lot of different factors, but one thing is for sure: we were all promised a lot of midnight snacks in the 80s, and our adult lives did not deliver.

Sitcom September is in full swing, and also only two weeks old, and also half-over. It all depends on how you look at it! Paul and Erika follow up last week’s 80s classic with a 90s classic: Fran Drescher’s I-Love-Lucy-redux The Nanny! We’ve got dumb gags, we’ve got wigs, we’ve got a wine cellar in Manhattan…it’s all here in this clash-of-the-classes sitcom!
