The Boudoir Equipment That's Made Me Over $1.5 Million - Episode 77 of the Sustainable Freedom with Boudoir Photography Podcast with Tracy Lynn! Equipment — it’s not always something you need. Yes, you need a camera to take pictures, and a computer to run your business off of. Maybe some lights mixed in there too. But past that, you don’t really need much to get started. Or to keep running your boudoir photography biz. Honestly? I’d rather invest in education. I think it’s priceless to learn the actual strategies and techniques you need to do things like appeal to your target audience, market your services, and keep clients coming back for more. Over the years, I’ve realized that new boudoir photography equipment isn’t going to increase your profitability or give your clients a better experience. New and “better” equipment isn’t going to make or break your sessions or your session sales. You definitely need GOOD reliable equipment, but you don’t need to constantly upgrade your equipment either. That being said, as a photography business, you still have to invest in SOME equipment. And in this episode, I’m breaking down exactly what equipment I use in my business so you can get a feel for what works…and what doesn’t!#boudoirphotographer #boudoir #boudoirphotographytips📧 TLC Newsletter: https://rebrand.ly/tlcnewsletterRESOURCES MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:Canon 5D Mark iii: https://amzn.to/3s0XNeY Canon 5D classic: https://amzn.to/40jFrT4 Canon T3i: https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Digital-18-55mm-discontinued-manufacturer/dp/B004J3V90Y Canon 70-200 2.8 ii L: https://amzn.to/3u0KXO4 50mm 1.2 L: https://amzn.to/40iC9Q4 50mm 1.8: https://amzn.to/3u0Lf7C Canon 5D mark ii: https://amzn.to/3FIYuMU CF Card: https://amzn.to/3QiPiUo SD Card: https://amzn.to/3FzhmOD EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE: https://amzn.to/49agb5F Westcott Solix Lights: https://amzn.to/3QC2oO7 Westcott Ice Light 2: https://amzn.to/46Um9WQ Ice Light Knock Off: https://amzn.to/3FD107G Alien bees: https://paulcbuff.com Macbook Air: https://amzn.to/46U7mLJ Macbook Pro: https://amzn.to/3SmLLHl iMac Desktop: https://amzn.to/3Mmzcbn Screen extender: https://amzn.to/46MG6i5 iPad: https://amzn.to/3Q8wY0g Wacom Table: https://amzn.to/46RYRku ✨ FREE GUIDES✨→Grab my FREE One-Page PDF: 5 Tips to Book Photography Clients Without Using Facebook Ads: https://tracylynncoaching.com/marketing-strategy/download/ → Hit your first six figures in the next 12 months with this FREE Guide: Five Targets To Spot-Check In Your Boudoir Business This Year: https://tracylynncoaching.com/marketing-strategy/targets-spot-check-boudoir-business/ 🚀 GROW YOUR BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS FAST! 🚀→ Forever Booked Out, The high-level marketing program for photographers to book sessions now–and in the future. https://tracylynncoaching.com/forever-booked-out/ → Boudoir Studio Accelerator, The blueprint to a six-figure boudoir studio: https://tracylynncoaching.com/boudoir-studio-accelerator/ ❤️FOLLOW ME/GET IN TOUCH❤️Hey, I'm Tracy! Welcome back to Sustainable Freedom with Photography. Last week, we talked about the difference between being a photographer and being a business owner, and we’ve set the expectation that while you're a creative person, the business side must be your priority to build sustainable freedom. And this week? We’re diving into the biggest excuse we’ve been hearing from so many photographers lately, and this one might be difficult to hear. You know, the whole "This year just sucks." "No one is booking." "The market is dead."? I’ve been coaching for years, and every single year, people say, "This is the worst it’s ever been." And frankly, unless you have a clear strategy and know how to pivot when you need to pivot? It will feel like a disaster. Because let’s be honest, there are still photographers filling their calendars, charging luxury prices, and thriving. This has been one of the best years EVER for our studio. People are definitely still spending thousands on photography. This episode is your loving wake-up call. If you feel stuck, it’s not because the whole industry is broken. It’s because your business needs a tune-up. And that’s what we’re here for. Overcoming Objections in Your Boudoir Photography Sales Session- Episode 107 of the Sustainable Freedom with Boudoir Photography Podcast with Tracy Lynn! Receiving pushback from clients can be emotionally challenging. Imagine spending hours capturing beautiful images and investing so much time into perfecting each image, only to have a client question the value of your work. It's gut-wrenching. It can make you feel like you didn't do your job right or like you've disappointed them. This emotional reaction is natural, but it's crucial to not let these feelings interfere with your sales process. If you get stuck in your feelings, you risk tanking the sale and undermining your confidence and professionalism. So, how do you navigate these challenging moments? By understanding that client objections are a normal part of the IPS process and arming yourself with strategies to address them effectively. The first step is recognizing that these objections are not personal attacks. Instead, they are opportunities to clarify, educate, and guide your clients towards making a decision that they will feel good about. In general, there are two main objections that photographers face during IPS sessions: "It's too expensive" and "I don't like them." Both of these objections stem from different concerns but can be equally challenging to address. Let's dive into each of these common objections and explore strategies for overcoming them. #boudoirphotographer #boudoir #boudoirphotographytips
