A young South African man raised in a rural Afrikaner farming community had never met a Muslim in his life, until a vivid dream of men in white robes around a desert fire led him, the very next morning, to a stranger on the roadside and straight into a mosque. He took his shahada that same day, and within a year moved to Yemen's Hadramawt Valley to study under scholars in the ancient city of Tarim, eventually watching his own father travel there and embrace Islam too. It's a story about dreams, lineage, and what it means to truly live a faith rather than just believe in it.-Start halal investing 👉 https://uninteresting.wahed.com/canyon-Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0xfSSc1...Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...-0:00 – Intro6:25 – Moving to Johannesburg: A Soul Quietly Searching14:49 – Saying the Shahada and the Call to Seek Knowledge23:14 – The People Who Remind You of God31:39 – What Islam Actually Requires You to Wear40:03 – The Sheikh Whose Turban Matched His Dream48:28 – Islam, Iman & Ihsan: The Three Levels of Faith56:53 – Why We Send Blessings on the Prophet ﷺ1:05:17 – 20 Years of Prayer Before Feeling Anything1:13:42 – Nothing Happens Except by the Will of God-Clips Channel: / @canyonmimbsshowclips Canyon: / canyonmimbs Contact Us: [email protected]#islam #revertstory #muslim
