Ep 85: Interview w/ MIKE REILLY of PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE ("BACK ON TRACK" available NOW!)
Play That Rock n‘ RollShow Notes
This is Play That Rock n' Roll's interview with Mike Reilly, longtime member and now owner/manager of PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE! Mike visited the show to discuss the band's first album in nearly twenty years, "BACK ON TRACK"! In this conversation, we discuss what motivated them to release a new album, the songs they recorded for it, and the surprising backstory of some of those songs! We also talk about PPL’s history with Vince Gill, their iconic “Sad Luke” album artwork, and how a YouTuber from the UK helped introduce their music to a new generation of fans! And somehow, we even ended up talking about what it would take to get Pure Prairie League to play the Sphere in Las Vegas.
