More from The Slippery
In this inaugural debrief episode, co-hosts Scott Eldridge and Nancy Moscatiello pull back the curtain on the opening chapters of The Lexi CON. Joined by the two tipsters whose relentless digging blew the case wide open—Ally Lifsey (a Nashville nurse) and her friend Sarah (also a nurse)—Scott and Nancy explore how a decade-long medical fabrication began to unravel.
Lexi Thomas doesn’t just tell stories—she controls them. As her alleged illness morphs into an all-out cancer battle, her emotional blog posts rally an entire community, launching massive fundraisers, charity games, and tens of thousands of dollars in donations.
To her tight-knit Maryland community, Lexi Thomas was the picture of devout resilience. She was a courageous young woman facing a sudden medical crisis in 2012. Anchored by her blog—where every post opened with Romans 8:28—Lexi shaped a story of suffering, divine trust, and cutting-edge treatments that inspired an entire community to rally around her and donate thousands of dollars.
In this episode, Scott and Nancy check in on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Jen Shah before taking a sharp turn into one of the wilder sports-and-faith financial controversies: the high-pressure wealth seminars fronted by former Heisman winner Tim Tebow. Later in the episode, the hosts answer viewer feedback and drop an exclusive sizzle reel for their upcoming project, The Lexi CON. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
