Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown combined for 69 points in the Philadelphia 76ers' 125-120 preseason finale loss to the Boston Celtics. LeBron James made his home debut with an easy eight points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Embiid had a nice bounce-back game pacing the Sixers with 27, eight boards and five assists. Maxey added 22, while Brown chipped in 20. Second-year guard VJ Edgecombe sat out due to rest. Philadelphia will begin the regular season next Tuesday in New York against the Knicks.
