Some new stories suggest that the Republican closing arguments for the midterm elections will focus on the riots in France. No question, this is a big threat to America, and a key risk in the elections. If the Democratic socialists reopen the border and let in another 15 million or more illegals, and if at the same time they destroy ICE, and police, and then take over the economy, with a $50 trillion Medicare for all plan that would reduce GDP by nearly 15% and crush wages by 28%, according to the Council of Economic Advisers – then we will wind up being like France. And that is devoutly to be avoided.
Pollster friends of mine are telling me Republicans are gonna lose the House and maybe the Senate, because not enough traditional Republicans are gonna come out and vote. In other words, Mr. Trump has always had the support of MAGA Republicans, but the mistake at the Dallas Convention was not wooing so-called traditional GOPers. Well, I’m not sure what a traditional Republican is, or why any Republican, or for that matter any sane person, would want to vote in a bunch of Democratic party big government socialists.
Newt Gingrich and I have been talking about so-called Democratic affordability, and the big government socialist mantra of medicare for all, which basically means if you like your healthcare plan, you won’t be able to keep it. $160 million some odd workers have employer-based healthcare and they like it, but they will lose it under the socialist proposal to nationalize the healthcare system. The Council of Economic Advisers estimates that to cost roughly $50 trillion over 10 years.
Slotkin's point is to bring political prosecution to young Republican staffers working for the president.
