Jessica Biel is back on the big screen for the first time in nine years with Matchbox: The Movie, and she’s sitting down with Josh for a chat covering everything from John Cena’s secret piano skills to the wildest 40th birthday parties she’s thrown for her friends.
Jessica tells Josh what convinced her to get back into movie making after so long, and the conversations she had with her husband Justin Timberlake about their children working in the entertainment industry. Plus - the funny reality of sharing a trailer with her 11 year old son Silas.
She also reflects on not finding her true voice in the industry until she became a producer in her 30s, and Josh and Jessica discuss the lasting impact of 90s body image culture, and why she thinks there’s still so much more progress to be made ten years on from the MeToo movement.
Jessica also joins the group chat to answer your questions, including her go-to quote, the book she’d love to adapt for the screen, and the unforgettable item she once put in a friend’s birthday gift basket.
