The 3-Year-Old Soccer Prodigy Wasn't the Problem — the Adults Were | Jason Whitlock Harmony

Fearless with Jason Whitlock

Show Notes

Police in Winter Park, Florida, were called to a youth soccer game. The complaint wasn't a fight, a threat, or a crime. It was a 3-year-old who reportedly scored 21 goals in two games. i9 Sports says the parents were the problem. The parents say the boy was benched for being too good. Cops cited nobody and called it a civil matter. So who is actually failing here — the toddler or the adults? Jason blames the parents. They think they’ve discovered their meal ticket.

Today’s show is another reason you must subscribe to this channel. Jason breaks down the biggest stories from Monday — Pat McAfee’s problem with Utah, Jay-Z performing at Super Bowl halftime, and the WNBA Finals playing at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow — and tells how the media got all three stories wrong. If you can’t stand groupthink, today’s show is perfect for you. Subscribe right now and stick around for the closing argument on Robert Griffin III’s Deion-like bid to be head coach at Baylor.

A 15-year-old is in custody, charged in the shooting that tore through Florida A&M's homecoming in Tallahassee. Eleven people shot. Police say the wounded were not the intended targets. Jason Whitlock asks what a massacre at a black homecoming says about a culture that keeps branding its own destruction as “hip-hop.” It’s all just a long-running black fatigue video set to music.

Deion Sanders got buried in Stillwater. Oklahoma State hung 57 on Colorado and the Coach Prime myth died on that field. The Buffaloes are 2-5, and this might be Deion’s last season as head coach. Drew Mestemaker threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns — his sixth straight 300-yard game — and walked out the best story in sports. Nobody saw him coming. NFL officiating chaos rolls on. The DEI ref crew led by Alex Moore is under fire again, this time after the Packers-Lions pool report and Green Bay's objections to questionable roughing-the-passer calls. And in Jason’s closing argument, Brian Flores is the new Buddy Ryan — same defense, same fear, same fatal ego.

Pastor David Reece and Dave Shannon join Jason Whitlock to lay out a vision for building explicitly Christian businesses in corporate America. They argue biblical law, not secular HR culture, should shape how companies hire, lead, and grow. They walk through applying the Ten Commandments to business, the Reece Fund model for acquiring companies, confessional churches, postmillennial optimism, and raising children for work and loyalty. This conversation is for Christians thinking about faith, work, family, and cultural engagement.

LeBron James finished with the worst plus/minus rating in last night's comeback victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jason has retracted his previous comments about LeBron, now claiming that he will be the downfall of the Philadelphia 76ers, despite the talents of Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid. ESPN even featured LeBron on the front page as the hero of the night, despite his poor performance compared to the other starters. Donald Trump publicly criticized LeBron's golf swing during the national anthem, while postgame media skipped questions about the anthem to focus on Trump instead. Plus Caleb Williams looking like a short Aaron Rodgers, whether the Steelers vs. Saints game in Paris should go on, and why Angel Reese is getting compared to Atlanta sports legends like Michael Vick, Dominique Wilkins, and Hank Aaron.
