Show Notes
Born into a family of musicians, Francis De Simone was fascinated with music from an early age, playing drums since he was two years old, and specialising in R&B, funk, hip hop, and Latin. His interest in electronic music was influenced by his father’s work in nightclub security, leading to Francis’ further exploration of electronic composition and experimentation with rhythm, textures, and modern sound design.
Following years spent honing his style through releases on Hot Creations, Solid Grooves, Cuttin’ Headz, and Desolat, whilst sharing the stage with the likes of Paco Osuna, Loco Dice, and Nicole Moudaber, Francis now debuts on Machaca La Membrana with his two-track EP, ’Wanna Bass’, blending deep house grooves with thumping basslines.
