I'm sharing my own experience as a 48-year-old woman who's been on peptides for over a decade, working with a doctor, getting labs, and taking the smallest doses that work for me. I am not a doctor, and nothing in this episode or these show notes is medical advice. Peptides are not FDA-approved for anti-aging use. Before you take anything, talk to a qualified medical provider who'll actually look at your labs and co-create a protocol with you. If you click through to either provider link above, you are making your own decision about what to do with your body. You are agreeing that I am not liable for any outcome, side effect, or interaction that comes from a product you purchase from them. Figure out what's right for your body with a doctor. I started peptides over a decade ago, before they were a buzzword, before everyone was trading their firstborn to get on one. This episode is what I'm actually on at 48. What each one does. Why I'm on it. And what I've come to believe about doing this in a culture that tells women to wait for studies that aren't coming. In This Episode: The first topical peptide I ever tried that made me wonder if my skin time-traveled Why people aren't actually judging the peptide... they're judging the wanting The hormone peptide I've been on for 10 years and would never give up The peptide I add when I need to be a fucking machine The peptide that cuts my recovery from aggressive treatments in half Why I'm not waiting 16 years for a study the NIH hasn't even funded yet The peptide everyone's gonna fight me on (no, not Ozempic, stop) The actually-simple reason I do all of this (it's not what you think) The two words for any provider who hands you a script without looking at your labs Why women are allowed to do whatever the fuck we want with our bodies, no permission required FOLLOW CYNTHIA GARCIA Instagram: @iamcynthiagarcia TikTok: @iamcynthiagarcia Facebook: @iamcynthiagarcia Website: www.cynthiagarcia.com REWRITTEN BEAUTY Instagram: @wearerewritten Facebook: @wearerewritten Website: www.rewrittenbeauty.com INSTITUTE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL NUTRITION Instagram: @transformationalnutrition Facebook: @transformationalnutrition Website: www.transformationalnutrition.com #peptides #peptidesforwomen #womenover40 #perimenopause #idliketothankmyself

I'm 49, and these are the 10 things I actually do that make me look and feel hot AF after 40. Some of them are about my skin, my clothes, and my heels. The one that made the biggest difference has nothing to do with Botox, filler, treatments, or anything I can buy. Want Your Free Personalized Hot AF Plan? Take the quiz Join The Vanity Club. Under-eye filler was the wrong fix for almost everything I was actually trying to fix, and I found that out after years and a stupid amount of money spent on my own face. What most people call under-eye aging is really five completely different problems, hollowing, darkness, crepey skin, fine lines, and true bags, and filler is only built for one of them. This is exactly what I do instead now, and how to figure out which under-eye problem is actually yours before you spend a dollar. Things I Mentioned: Rewritten Show The Face Up serum My eye retinol My peptide eye cream My at-home radiofrequency device
If I had to start over at 40, knowing everything I know now after spending $1.3 million on beauty, these are the ten things I'd do first, in the order that actually works. This is the anti-aging roadmap for women over 40 I wish someone had handed me, and no, Botox isn't one of them.
