Moto PG 171: Jacob Roulstone

MotoPG

Show Notes

Just because there's no racing doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about as the lads catch up with one of the good guys of the motorcycle world, Jacob Roulstone. After a difficult start to the year for the 20-year-old there have been recent signs of life and the rest of 2025 is about 2026 for the Red Bull Tech 3 team member. And while there was plenty of good stuff to talk about, the elephant in the room is yet to be addressed: Roulstone remains one of the few riders in the paddock without his own MotoPG nickname. Any and all assistance to correct this injustice are welcomed. Now buy Borri'es books, sign up for the Patreon Pit Crew, send us a cheque or some precious stones in the mail or any other method you choose but give us some money and then press play. We'll all feel better for it.

It's been a while since Australia could boast a motorcycling world champion but our latest might be the most impressive yet. Archie McDonald won the inaugural Bagger World Cup last month against more experienced and better credentialed riders and all after suffering an unimaginable personal tragedy when his brother took his own life earlier in the year. We also catch up with James Tonna, owner of the Joe Rascal racing team, which made the whole thing possible. This is the 217th episode of Moto PG but it might be the best yet. (And don't forget to sign up for the Patreon Pit Crew. This beer doesn't buy itself.)

If you think this podcast is madness when it's just our three hosts, imagine what it's like when you add a crowd of fans. That's what the annual Moto PG Rampage is about and this year was no exception. Thrills, spills and a couple of special guests make it one of the highlights of the Moto PG calendar and 2026 is no exception. If you weren't there press play and see what you missed. If you were, press play and see if you remember what happened.

Have the team finally found a bike Freido can test ride? Is it somehow possible Marc Marquez might still steal this championship? Will the authorities crack under pressure from the Greatest Motorcycling Podcast in the Universe and guarantee the future of Grid Girls? None of these questions are answered in episode 215 but they are all asked and that is an important first step. To hear for yourself hit the play button then head over to Patreon and do your part to keep this ship afloat by signing up as a Pit Crew member. The monthly fee will definitely improve our lives and possibly even yours.. Hard to imagine a better deal than that. Enjoy

It was a weekend that had everything. Australia's newest world champion was crowned with an emotional Archie McDonald's claiming the inaugural Harley Davidson Bagger World Cup and Baby Jeebus (Pedro Acosta) finally climbing the mountain to claim his first GP victory. Throw in Struth getting arrested and it was perhaps the best weekend of the year so far. To celebrate, Borrie wrote two poems for the episode which is reason enough to press the play button. What are you waiting for?

Death, taxes and Marc Marquez winning. These are the things one can rely on in life and the universe was in balance in Italy at the weekend. Of course, that is bad news for Boris but the big man has plenty of opportunity to express his displeasure in episode 213. And he does. But he also has a brilliant poem, Massive checks in and there's even a live cross to a special guest chatting with Freido. It's madness, it's impossible to explain but it's a lot of fun. Press play to be part of it and while youre listening loosen the purse strings and head over to Patreon to join the Pit Crew. It's guaranteed to get you laid.
