Join Pro Lab 👉🏾 https://www.thecartymethod.com/prolab. ✅ If you’re an emerging or struggling photographer and you’re still sitting around waiting for clients to magically find you, this episode is going to change everything. For 35 years I’ve used one strategy that continues to work in every market, every era, and every niche. Shooting on spec. In today’s episode I break down why shooting on spec is still the smartest way to get photography clients, how I use it to position myself as the obvious choice, and how you can do the same no matter where you live or what you shoot. I show you how to: • Build proof that brands actually care about • Spot opportunities before anyone else sees them • Read brands like a creative director • Make spec work feel like it came from inside the company • Package and present your images like a professional • Follow up in a way that opens doors instead of closing them Photography is not about waiting. It’s about demonstrating. It’s about showing a brand exactly what you can help them achieve. This is how I’ve built my career, and it’s how you can build yours too. If you’re serious about becoming a working photographer, this episode will help you shift from hoping for clients… to creating demand.
