Australian Diamonds and Melbourne Vixens netballer Kiera Austin joins Nikki & Lisa for a very special episode of Outlandishly Hot Takes. You may know Kiera from the netball court, but the Commonwealth Games accidentally outed her as one of us when she went on a very public mission to meet Sam Heughan.
Kiera gives us the full story behind that moment, what happened when she finally met Sam, and what it’s like being a professional athlete with a serious Outlander obsession. We also chat Scotland, family, her netball career and everything in between.
Basically, we found a professional athlete who is just as obsessed with Outlander as we are.
Listen wherever you get your podcasts and come hang with us on Instagram at @thatsoutlandishlyhot2.0 for clips, memes, interviews and all the Outlander chat the internet can handle.

Nikki and Lisa are back reacting to the trailer for Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 6, “Small Mercies”! We’re dissecting every frame, making up internet rumours, wildly speculating and convincing ourselves our theories are basically confirmed. 👀
Nikki and Lisa are back recapping Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 5, “Forgive Me, Father”! We’re unpacking truly hectic war scenes, Henry and Brian facing off on opposite sides, Julia’s terrifying showdown with Seema, and Ellen proving she can talk her way out of almost anything. Plus, Dougal makes some spectacularly bad decisions, Colum breaks our hearts, and just when we think Ellen is safe… kidnapping!
OMG HENRY IS BACK, BABY! And apparently, nobody in 1715 is getting any sleep this week. 😂 From Brian and Ellen bringing the heat to Murtagh and Grace’s slow-burn romance, this episode is giving us sex, secrets, love tokens and enough emotional damage to last a lifetime. Nikki and Lisa are unpacking ALL of it, from Henry and Julia’s long-awaited reunion (and the Seema-shaped elephant in the room) to Brian choosing love over titles, Dougal being a baddie, and Murtagh proving that a little kindness and a handmade flower can go a very long way. Plus, that final twist? WE ARE NOT OKAY.
Cackle along with Nikki and Lisa as they react to the trailer for Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 5, Forgive Me, Father!
This week, Nikki and Lisa are recapping Blood of My Blood Season 2, Episode 3, Rabbits Don’t Swim, as Ellen Mackenzie turns Castle Leoch into a deadly obstacle course, the women fight back against an attempted takeover, and Lord Lovat’s betrayal sends Brian and Dougal straight into a Redcoat trap. It's giving home alone but with knives.
