Labelled by @resident-advisor as "one of the classiest and grooviest house DJs out there," @danaruh is a musician who lives and breathes music like few others. Thoroughly obsessed by the complexities of sound, she's as renowned for his wizardry behind the decks as she is her label, @brouqade -as well as her role at fledgling Berlin music space, 60waves store. A native of Gera, Ruh has been firmly settled in Berlin for over a decade now, with Germany's capital continuing to play a profound effect on her unique way of working. An impressively multifaceted musician, Ruh's early sound was often characterised by its subtle, minimal tropes, although these days she's equally as likely to champion classy, up-tempo house as she is a tougher, more peak-time techno vibe. It's a way of working that means she's equally comfortable throwing it down in Romania as she Ibiza or at her summer residency at Berlin's Club der visionaere. A master of the subtle groove, Ruh's work continues to draw praise from electronic music's most respected names, with her highly-regarded debut LP, Naturally, released via @jus-ed @undergroundquality. Added to this, further celebrated releases have arrived recently via equally discerning outposts such as @barbara-preisinger, Cave Records and @autoreply. Closer to home, Ruh continues to rep her Brougade imprint with distinction. Conceived in 2007, the label is now firmly established one that's equally likely to push forward-thinking up-and-coming artists and established names alike. As one of the founder of @kma60 he established 60waves, an independent record store in berlin, releasing her latest album 2020 on Cave Recordings Dana is never sitting still. after her Release on @smallville-records in 2023 and back on Brougade and with a live set to perform She will not stop to create. @eli-verveine is a DJ, live artist and producer known for building her own dancefloor wherever she plays. Always tuned in to the crowd, she shapes warm-up, peak-time and after-hours sets with the right mix of drama and restraint, until everyone is locked into a unified groove.
@quadrantsoundscape are Tommy Harrison and Wilson Logan from Manchester. Together, they are the minds behind the Dub Explorations Mix Series. They also run a series of live events at the famous Eastern Bloc Records. The Dub Explorations Series itself has well surpassed 130 shows, all at least 3 hours in length which is an insight into the dedication they have for hunting underground Dub Techno and Deeper Detroit Tunes to showcase and promote. They have also increased their output with 2 new mix series'. Firstly, 'The Quadrasphere' where many genres are showcased by some very talented artists, and 'The Frontier', which is an invite only mix show. Stay Rave with #R13!
Kyiv-based Mikhail Ilyushchenko, known to the entire Ukrainian underground under the aliases @luschn1 and IV Mickey, has been an integral part of the capital's electronic scene for more than a decade. Luschn is a true universal soldier of the music world, confidently working on the fringe of many styles. His sound is full of playful motifs intertwined with complex compositional canvases. It's also about depth, drama, multilayered senses, sounds, and harmonies. Everyone will find something there. Mark (@mark-ambrose-trax) started as a lover of House music back in the late 80s. Hooked on the Style of the music mainly from Chicago, New York and Detroit. In 1989 he got a pair of Technics 1210's and started as a bedroom DJ. Not long after he was getting booked play in clubs. After finding love for Synthesisers Samplers and drum machines he started his own label Crayon. Stay Rave with #R13!
