Capron Park Zoo Animal Guesses

The Capron Park Zoo in Attleboro mourns the loss of its beloved lion, Ramses, who passed away in August at the age of 20. In light of this vacancy, zoo officials hint at introducing a new animal to the lion habitat, teasing that it will be a "great fit" and that modifications are being made to accommodate it, including the addition of a pool.

Speculation arises among the hosts about what type of animal could replace Ramses. Ideas range from tigers to polar bears, with discussions on the zoo's recent acquisition of a bobcat named Marley May. The conversation highlights the complexities of zoo animal management, including breeding programs and the importance of diversifying gene pools. The hosts also engage in light-hearted banter about the quirks of various animals, including the sun bear and lemurs, while considering the potential for a new exhibit that could captivate visitors.
