The Race - 09

Preview of a new podcast series is written and researched by Camille Bianchi. They were the town heroes, the people who dominate every sphere and rule every room. But the rot set in when they used their power to groom whole communities and hurt the most vulnerable. How did they go undetected for so long? And why were credible reports buried for so many years? From Tasmania and beyond, this podcast series reveals the conditions these bad apples need to thrive across communities and what happens to the whistleblowers who refuse to look the other way. Through March 2024 Camille is continuing her podcast investigation called The Nurse, publishing new episodes analysing the findings from the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government’s Reponses to Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings, which The Nurse podcast, in part, bought about. Search The Nurse in your podcast app, press the follow button, and new episodes will be at the top of the feed every week. You can listen on Spotify by tapping here
